     I have been reading tarot for over 30 years, about as long as I have been a public educator.  As a  poet, I was searching for symbol systems to explore for my writing when a friend suggested I look to tarot.  I fell in love with the Motherpeace deck, moved to the Thoth deck and now have a varied collection of tarot, oracle and angel cards I use for readings.  I have studied a wide range of card layouts and styles of reading and use my intuition to interpret the cards freshly, taking into account the querent, the particular decks I’m drawn to use for a client, always trusting that the shuffling reflects the constant mixing and ordering of the universal elements of water, fire, earth and air.  Patterns emerge from the process and can bring insight and aid to the asker.

     Recently, I've been developing my mediumship skills, as well as deepening my psychic gifts , through course work with practicing psychic-mediums.  These skills help me provide an even more in-depth reading for clients. Insights also come to me through dreams and meditation and sometimes visions.  I have worked with clients on dream interpretation, and through my work as a yoga instructor have taught meditation as foundational piece of my yoga classes.

     My goal now, as I am easing out of academic work and transitioning fully into spiritual work, is to help those seeking greater understanding of their individual circumstances and how those circumstances mesh with the awakening at hand—we are all related, as wise Lakota leaders knew and spoke long ago.
